The challenge they faced

An technology solutions firm had operated its website on WordPress for years, but found the platform difficult to manage and update. The team lacked an integrated system to handle content production, client engagement, and digital presence alongside their advisory work. When evaluating options to modernize, they were concerned about the cost and complexity of a full website rebuild.

Bluleadz helped the client see that migrating to HubSpot CMS would address both immediate needs–easier content management and built-in security–and create a foundation for ongoing content strategy. By focusing the initial website project on a platform migration rather than a complete overhaul, and proposing a flexible monthly managed services package, Bluleadz made a path forward that balanced investment with tangible returns.

The strategy we mapped

We prioritized the homepage as the foundation for the entire site redesign, establishing the design language and brand voice before building any internal pages. This decision let us work in parallel: once the homepage was approved, the copywriter could revise other pages to match its tone and structure, while the designer built out additional pages from an established template. Early in the project, we discovered the initial draft copy needed substantial revision to reflect the client's niche positioning and professional brand, so we shifted to a copywriter-led workflow where content guidance shaped the design, and the client reviewed copy in batches rather than page-by-page to accelerate progress. The supplier page was originally scoped as a database-driven build with an associated monthly cost, but we resolved this by building it manually, allowing the client to manage supplier data through a shared spreadsheet without additional platform spend.

Throughout the project, we adapted the site structure in response to timeline pressures and the client's commitment to launching with a complete case study portfolio. The original plan included 15+ pages; we consolidated this to a single Services page with anchor links to sub-services and 8 individual Solutions pages, significantly reducing scope while preserving the client's ability to showcase their full service range. The case study feature evolved into a gated, lead-generation mechanism, where anonymous tiles with brief teasers prompt visitors to submit a form for access to full PDFs, and the client manually approves each request to control sensitive data disclosure.

The solutions we executed

We built the site using a HubSpot CMS theme from the marketplace, establishing a modern, professional online presence to replace the aging WordPress platform. The homepage featured a dynamic typewriter effect highlighting key service areas like AI, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions, paired with the client's own high-quality brand imagery rather than generic stock photos. We implemented a mega-navigation menu with carefully structured service categories, each limited to 5 to 6 key items plus a "See More" link to maintain visual consistency and usability across the team's advisory work.

The Solutions section comprises 8 individual pages, each organized with H2 and H3 headers and anchor links, allowing visitors to jump directly to relevant sub-services such as Assessments, Consulting, and Merger & Acquisition services. Each service includes a brief descriptive blurb to ensure Google can crawl and understand the page's purpose, supporting search performance. We added a persistent navigation element across all pages to maintain consistent access to key actions like scheduling a consultation.

The case studies page uses anonymous client tiles (e.g., "International Cruise Company") with short teasers to protect confidentiality while generating interest. Clicking a tile triggers a form that captures the case study requested and submits to the client's email inbox; the client manually reviews each request and approves delivery of the full PDF. Hidden form fields route inquiries by service type and category, enabling targeted follow-up without exposing the complete portfolio publicly.

We configured a supplier page that pulls partner data from a shared spreadsheet, including logos and descriptions with embedded content. The page supports filtering by the 8 main service categories and includes a "Clear" button to reset selections, making it easy for the client to maintain and update their partner ecosystem. We also implemented a footer redesign with a contrasting logo variant to ensure visibility on dark backgrounds, and corrected branding elements throughout the site to align with the client's current brand standards.

The results

What changed after the engagement.

The client now has a modern, professionally designed website running on HubSpot CMS instead of an aging, unstable WordPress platform. The site features a streamlined structure with a homepage, eight Solutions pages organized by service area, a Services page with anchor links to sub-services, and a gated case study portal that protects client confidentiality while generating qualified leads. A mega-navigation menu with carefully limited service items maintains usability across the team's full advisory range.

The supplier directory, powered by a shared spreadsheet, allows the client to manage partner data without additional platform costs. With a dependable, secure foundation in place, the client can now execute their content strategy and ongoing digital presence alongside their advisory work.
