The Overview

As our HubSpot Solutions Architect, you'll be the technical cornerstone of our pre-sales process.  This role is a critical part of our revenue team, where you'll partner with Sales Account Executives to architect and demonstrate how the HubSpot platform can solve our prospects' most complex challenges while driving value for their businesses. You'll dive deep into customer needs, design elegant solutions, build compelling, customized demos, and serve as the go-to technical expert on our largest and most technically intricate deals.  This role is perfect for a HubSpot power user who loves solving puzzles and connecting technical capabilities to tangible business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary technical expert on sales calls, confidently presenting solutions and answering in-depth questions about HubSpot's functionality and integration capabilities.
  • Design and visualize custom data models and complex data flows using tools like Lucid Chart to clearly articulate solutions for prospective clients.
  • Build and run tailored demo environments within HubSpot that showcase the art of the possible, addressing specific prospect use cases (e.g., industry-specific setups, cross-object automation, etc.).
  • Evaluate third-party API documentation to determine integration feasibility, map out deployment plans, and de-risk complex projects.
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to develop precise, accurate scopes of work for technically complex implementation and integration projects.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on when to use HubSpot's native tools, middleware solutions, or fully custom-coded integrations to best meet a client's needs.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the entire HubSpot platform, staying ahead of feature updates and new product releases.
  • Enable the sales team by providing feedback and training on how to better qualify technical requirements.
  • Develop and document playbooks for scoping common technical scenarios, such as specific ERP integrations or migrations.

The Skills and Qualifications You Bring:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or similar client-facing technical role.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with the HubSpot platform, especially Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Operations/Data Hub.
  • Proven experience designing and scoping complex technical solutions, including data migrations and third-party API integrations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in creating data models and process flows using diagramming tools (Lucid Chart preferred).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization concepts.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in client-facing situations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
